Memorial Scholarship

The Ruth B. Kessler Scholarship at Miami Dade College was established by her family to recognize her extraordinary life and contribution to the nursing profession. Aunt Ruthie is an inspiration to the next generation of nurses and as such, the Ruth B. Kessler Scholarship will support one student per academic year enrolled in the Benjamin Leon School of Nursing LPN program who has demonstrated interest in long term care. The scholarship award will cover full tuition for one student, clinical clearance fees, and certifications including CNA and Phlebotomy.
